Edinburgh Fringe

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is in full swing now, the streets are packed with performers and tourists and the vibe throughout the capital is electric. With so much to see and do, people often miss some of the hidden gems this magical city has to offer; in particular those with a passion for whisky!

So to help you cram in some dram time, we have compiled this guide of our favourite whisky haunts in Auld Reekie.

The Scotch Whisky Experience

The Scotch Whisky Experience is a great day out for all the family, guiding you along the journey of our much loved national drink; whisky! Its main attraction is a fantastic ride where you sit within a whisky barrel and take a tour through a replica distillery, learning all about the whisky making process. Whisky tasting sessions are also available and there is a wonderful restaurant where you can unwind with some traditional Scottish cuisine.
